Introduction from the Executive Director:
Welcome to COAST’s web page dedicated to our American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) projects. Our goal at COAST is to ensure that our customers and the Seacoast region receive maximum benefit from the ARRA funds that have been allocated to COAST. ARRA funds will be utilized to procure equipment and services in support of the Seacoast region’s public transit system, helping sustain and/or create jobs on a local, regional and national level.
On March 10, 2009 COAST was notified by the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) that our organization had been apportioned $3,255,500 in support of our Transit Capital Assistance Program. This apportionment is based on the Federal Transit Administration’s (FTA’s) apportionments of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funds and our previous requests for these funds.
