Operations Dispatcher

COAST is seeking a full-time Operations Dispatcher to join our team!

Candidates must have excellent customer service skills, be able to interact calmly with all personalities even in stressful situations, and be able to support operators and other COAST staff respectfully in all circumstances. Candidates must be able to multi-task, prioritize competing tasks, respond to emergencies, and make decisions. Strong analytical and computer skills are required. Positions in this job classification are considered safety-sensitive and are subject to drug testing, including random drug screens, in accordance with Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Drug and Alcohol regulations.

Starting Pay: $20.45 / hour

Schedule: This position works a typical schedule of Monday through Friday, 12:15pm to 8:45pm. However, this position works a schedule of 2:30pm to 11:00pm to cover for other staff when needed, sometimes with only one day’s advance notice. Occasional weekend work may be required, but is not the norm.
