Started by the New Hampshire Transit Association (NHTA), in collaboration with the State Coordinating Council for Community Transportation (SCC) Community Transportation Month is a way to help shine the light on the types of public and community transportation available to Granite Staters—and to celebrate the economic and social benefits that public transit generates.
In addition to the Fare Free Saturday on October 25, COAST is celebrating Community Transportation Month in a number of ways:
- During Apple Harvest Day, COAST offered shuttle service and had a booth.
- Today, we’re celebrating our staff with a staff appreciation day.
- Tomorrow, you’ll find us at the Leadership Seacoast Leadership Summit as both a speaker and a vendor.
- On October 29, we’re hosting a customer gratitude day. We'll announce details closer to the day on our Facebook page. Make sure you're following us!
