Cooperative Alliance for Seacoast Transportation (COAST)
The Cooperative Alliance for Seacoast Transportation (COAST) intends to apply for Federal Transit Administration (FTA) funds, under 49 USC § 5310, on behalf the Alliance for Community Transportation (ACT) to expand transportation opportunities for the elderly and disabled. COAST will be applying for Section 5310 Formula Funds. ACT is the Regional Coordination Council for Community Transportation for the Southeast NH region. COAST serves as ACT's lead agency for Formula Funds.
Application will be submitted to the New Hampshire Department of Transportation for: $207,206 in Formula Funds for SFY 2017 (July 1, 2016 — June 30, 2017). These funds will support mobility management and transportation for the elderly and disabled in Strafford and Rockingham Counties.
COAST will provide an opportunity for a public hearing on the proposed project(s) if sufficient public comment is received. Should this proposed application (program) not be amended due to public comment received, it will become the final application (program). Copies of the applications will be available at COAST's Administrative Offices at 6 Sumner Drive, Dover, New Hampshire 03820 where written comments regarding the proposed applications will be accepted.
